This webpage & map below is a review of ‘our’ European trip in the context of the US Army advance during WW2 in Western Europe as journeyed by Major Richard Winters of Co E 506 Regt of 101 Airborne Division; also included side visits to Portsmouth, Roman Ruins, Arnhem, Maginot Line, and Vielsalm (Bus Breakdown) which all turned out to be trip highlights.
